Located in Pasadena, California, this in-ground kitchen garden was planted for a professional caterer. The client wanted as many tomatoes as we could plant and grow for her. Secondly, she wanted plenty of herbs. The two 4 x 8 plots are located in the backyard of a house in an area that was all grass before we started.
To prepare the ground we first had to dig up the grass and remove it from the two garden beds. Once this was complete, we prepared the soil by adding organic matter. One bed contains eight tomato plants while the other one has basil, chervil, parsley, thyme, sage, oregano, mint, chives, and dill.
